Cookies, underwear, tallow and candles have nothing in common except the test we hold them to. Five questions, published in full: would we buy it at full price, can you read the whole ingredient list out loud without stumbling, does the maker say where it comes from before we ask, is it the better version of something you already buy, and does it sell itself on fear.
If we can't trace it, we don't sell it. And when a maker won't tell us something, we print that too.

GOTS certified organic cotton in the underwear. We name the certifier or we say nothing.

The soap is four ingredients. The tallow balms are three. If you cannot read a panel out loud without stumbling, it does not make the shelf.

We will tell you when we do not know
Some makers do not publish a full ingredient panel. One counts its ingredients differently on the label than on the website. When that happens we say so on the product page and we ask them, rather than filling the gap with something that sounds good.
A store that only ever sounds certain is guessing somewhere.
